If I ever am in a position i would love to buy one of these. Went to a Lotus meet with a buddy a few months back and finally got to processing a couple of the images.

May have to do it again (had to borrow tools and they were a little beaten, we were asked to use new ones) but got it completed.

OMG SEAFAIR

So I just got back from boeing field where my step sisters gave me access to the runway and i got some amazing photos but 380 to sort from the first day and have 2 more days to go. :) this is going to be an EPIC weekend. click and there are also photos of the navy/coast guard/Canadian navy

Lighting assignment, week2

Specular black object on a black background. Only processing on it was turning it monochrome and removing dust. Nothing else at all..

Lighting assignment, first week summer quarter

Simple but elegant. We were asked to photograph a box or cylinder on a gradient with placement and other restrictions. So here was my end result.

Here was my final for Architectural Photography class.... honestly disappointed in the LACK of teaching in that class... Went and sat in on the other class and got more out of one day there then the Entire time i spent in Jeff Parks's class. Being the director of the department i really would have expected more.... well expected something..

Discovery Park

Went for a walk with a friend of mine at discovery park. Down at the water there was a Great Blue Heron just in the shallow water fishing. Followed him for about a half mile down the beach. The heron pictures are quite cropped. I really wish i had a longer lens lol. Then on the way back to the car the Fireweed was blooming brightly. Started a few pictures then started chasing bees. Borrowed my friends 100 macro and danced around the flowers trying to photograph bees.

Smoke Photography

After doing glassware as a lighting assignment i thought i might use the same idea to light smoke from an incense. That didn't quite work as well as i thought so just side lit it with my speedlight with a snoot and a black velvet backdrop and here are the results. I may post some more later trying to get rings.
